Among the receipt of items handled by the postal service department through the mail processing center are registered items, small packages and parcels. For the first quarter of 2022, the overall total receipt of the items was 84,869 which is the highest amount when compared to the second quarter and beyond.
In the second and third quarters, small packets recorded an increase in the number of receipts compared to other items. while total receipts for packages were affected in the fourth quarter with a decrease of 90%.
Throughout 2022, the total number of receipts for registered items, small packets and parcels is decreasing every quarter. After the opening of the border on 1 August 2022, the total receipt of such goods showed a decrease of 46% until the end of 2022.
